Moving across the states sure has put a few things into perspective. We are really excited but it sure does make you really realize how incredible having a family close by is. I could no way no how be doing what I'm doing without them. Thankyou family and husband! So last summer I did an internship for my degree doing financial counseling. I thought I would take fall semester off and jump right back into school and my other internship without thinking twice but man, it was a hard choice to go back to work. I loved being with my baby everyday and being there for Todd. But the stars must have alligned right or something becasue this internship just fell in my lap. Life is crazy now with me putting in 40 hrs a week, but now I know I can graduate and all my hard work will pay off. It really means alot to me to be working towards something and to be making a sacrifice to accomplish it. After asking Todd if I was crazy for trying to do this he just said if this is important to you and you want it then we will do whatever it takes! So Me and Car go to Kaysville Monday night so I can work Tuesday and Wed. then Todd comes after his early class Thurs to watch her. Then its back to Logan Saturday night. Crazy schedule but I figure life is never not going to be crazy!
p.s Carly said her first word today! When I walked in the door she popped her little head up and looked at me and blurted out momma mom! best feeling ever, even if it was just a coincidence, thanks baby girl!

Throughout December Todd interviewed with Chevron and he did it! He got the job, I am so proud of him and all of his hard work in school and husband-ing and daddy-ing. It is going to be a great opportunity for us...did I mention it is in Houston?? Yeah. Far Far Away. Of course this was a major factor when we were deciding if it was the right job for us to take. This past year has brought on some big things that I have had to adjust to and learn from, and I know that they have made me a stronger person. Hard things make you stronger and I can do hard things! As we talked about the pros and cons of moving and accepting this job, all of the cons turned into pros somehow, it seemed like every bad thing I could think of something positive could come out of it too. Being far away from family will be hard, I know there will be hard times, but this will give Todd and I the chance to really be independant and depend on one another. And we will have to actually put some effort into our relationships to stay updated and I think that will help strengthen them as well. There is so much to life and so much to live for, experiences to gain, new food to try and people to meet! I am getting really excited! I have a feeling that Texas is just the beginning, the beginning of something big.

I am so excited for Carly's first Christmas! Getting her little foot painted was not easy, especially since she has mastered rolling over and that is all she wants to do! But it was worth it to get those tiny foot prints to remember how small she is now. Last year for Christmas we didn't decorate at all because we were gone so much, so I have been looking forward to decorating all year and it has finally come! I must be my mothers daughter...

Carly is now an official member of the family with the famous aunt-Linda's-stocking...I've had mine since I was little and you are not official if you don't have the stocking! Its a big deal...Welcome to the family honey!

The other night after her bath she crashed, one second she was awake and the next...she was out! She was pooped after her weekend of going to wyoming and to kaysville, its exhausting being a baby!

Carly is a scooter! She can push up on her knees and scoot around, last night she rolled over for the first time! She is so observant, she will just study any new face she sees. She loves to listen to dad play and sing with his guitar, she likes watching football with dad and she loves to suck on everything. She is (obviously) a really good eater, and sleeper, at least 8 hours a night. She loves to look at (and eat) her books. I wish I could freeze her at this stage it has been so fun...Please don't grow up to fast baby girl!

Carly was not to happy about this...and she doesn't mind letting you know it! Her personality is really starting to shine through and we are loving getting to watch her grow.

She has grown up so much in the last two months...

She can smile and squeak, she is always making noises.

She loves tummy time and sleeps on her tummy too.

She also loves to sleep, she will sleep at least 8 hours every night.

Every morning she stretches both arms above her head and stretches her legs and lets out a few toots...she cracks us up with her morning-stretches-face.

She can lift up her head and try to push up herself with her elbows while on her belly, she can stand up against you when you hold her.

I am so glad she likes to cuddle, she loves being rocked to sleep.

We look forward to bath time everyday, she especially likes the warm blow dryer after to warm her up and a blankie from the dryer...spoiled?

It is so fun to see her little personality develop, we love her!

Grandma B's Annual Sock Party: This was Carly's very first sock party! Grandma B always throws a sock party before school starts to give everyone new socks for the up coming year. She always thinks of fun, clever ways to give them to us. We have gone on scavenger hunts to find them, cracked riddles and pinatas to get them and even played fear factor to win our socks. This year we played 'Minute to Win It'. Grandma prepared several tasks to be done in under a minute and we all competed against eachother and the clock. We had a great time playing and carly enjoyed her afternoon nap.

Carly's Story:

Todd and I had been traveling back and forth from Wyoming to Logan for our weekly check up appointment with Dr. Fowers. He finally said I was getting close and it would be a good idea to stick around. I woke up Saturday morning with a stomach ache, but it progressively got worse. We started timing it and noticed this stomach ache was coming about every 8 minutes. I wasn’t convinced it was contractions until they started really kicking in at 5 minutes apart. I was ready to go to the hospital when I was having contractions every three minutes, when we got there they informed us that I was dilated to a 6 and we would be having our baby tonight! Our families rushed to Logan, little did we know Carly wouldn’t be arriving any time too soon. Around midnight a doctor broke my water to speed up the process, unfortunately they found there was miconium in the amniotic fluid. Suddenly I dilated to a 9, this stressed Carly out as her heart rate jumped and dipped. It was a red flag that she was in stress so we slowed down the contractions to comfort her and me as well. Finally, a few hours later now around 4 am, it was time to start pushing. Again, her heart rate showed signs of stress so we progressed slowly. Ten pushes later our little baby took her first breath in this world. The doctor cleaned her up and Todd got to cut her umbilical cord, then they rushed her away to the NICU to clean her lungs and make sure she was okay. It all happened so fast. I will never forget seeing her for the first time and instantly loving her and her dad; our new family. Her body indicated she could have an infection, plus her lungs had miconium in them so she needed to stay in the NICU. We spent the next 5 days there with our little girl, praying she would recover quickly and we could go home together. The doctors tested my placenta to find there had been an infection in it. There is no way of knowing how long she was exposed to it, but her strong body overcame it faster than the doctor expected and we were able to take her home Thursday the 11th. Todd was needed in Wyoming to help his dad with work until school started, so the following Monday we went to Wyoming. Carly and I made a trip to Kaysville to see everyone there and then back to Wyoming again. Todd started school the 29th and we have been enjoying being together in Logan. He has two more semesters left until he graduates in the Spring of 2012 with his bachelors degree in Biology and his bachelors degree in public health. I am taking this fall semester off to stay at home with Carly, I can finish my remaining semester later.

First things first: It is official! I am done with my internship! I didn't think I could live in Logan for three days a week husband-less and pregnant, but I did! Now that that internship is over with graduation is actually in sight :) I'm so grateful for Todd and for helping me get through those long hard lonely days.

Now we can be together forever (until hunting season starts.....)

The FOURTH: Todd and I enjoyed a nice little camping trip to the gorge over the fourth of July weekend. I am advancing in my country girl skills, as I got everything ready and packed for the camp-out. Something we realized I never had to do before, Todd was quite impressed except for I forgot pillows...We got the fire all ready for our tin foil dinners (yum) and then headed to the lake to fish. As I made my way down a rattle snake slithered right in front of me and rattled its tail at me! I was two steps behind Todd the rest of the night. We fished for a while and ate and talked as it got dark then Todd serenaded me with some guitar singin. About two hours after we fell asleep I heard something outside our tent and I reaallllyy needed to go to the bathroom, blame that on the little one. So I woke up Todd. After that we both couldn't fall asleep. Trying to sleep in a tent on a ground pad didn't sound like a bad idea. I guess I'm not as tough as I thought. So my sweet husband packed up everything and took me home to sleep in a bed. We got back around 3:30 am. So sweet of him. Camping at 35 weeks pregnant was unsuccessful, but kinda funny. The next day we headed to Logan to finish moving into our new apartment which i looove. Then we got to spend some time with my family and went to the annual BBQ. It was back to Wyoming after that for fireworks. This is the only picture I captured of the fourth of July weekend...maybe camping will work out better next year..or maybe not with an 11 mo. old??

BEAR LAKE: Last weekend we had our annual bear lake family reunion and of course we had to see the one and only Juanito Bandito at The Pickleville Playhouse! As always the play was hilarious, had both of us laughing our heads off and I even cried..which I do a lot when I laugh recently, pregnancy thing?...We had a great time with every one and loved that raspberry shake!

While we were family-reunion-ing my sister-in-laws threw me a baby shower, look how cute it was! Thanks everyone for the cute gifts. We will be needed all those tiny outfits, blankies and diapers here before we know it!

I can't believe it but I didn't take any pictures of my other baby shower that my cousin Jordyn, aunt Jill, Grandma B, Hydee, Mom and Bekah threw for me. It was a rubber ducky theme, and darling. I know this little girl is lucky to have such a great extended family waiting for her. Now we just have to wait until she is ready to come. Since my doctor is two and a half hours away hopefully I make it to the hospital. Four weeks to go!

This summer is a crazy one. I have been doing my internship for school at the Family Life Center in Logan doing financial counseling and Todd has been at FMC in Wyoming working for his internship. We have put a lot of miles on the car back and forth to be with each other,

but it is always worth it!

I only have two more weeks and I am done, done, doneeeee!

We are also moving apartments this week which has been super stressful, but will be so worth it to have her little nursery all ready for when she comes :)

34 weeks down, 6 to go!

This morning Todd said, (very nicely) 'it looks like you swallowed a basketball'

And that about sums up how I feel...in a good way...i think....

Todd played his guitar and sang 'Don't you wanna stay' by Jason Aldean at the benefit concert put on for Karen York's brother, who has cancer. It was a success, earning about twelve thousand for him. Todd sounded amazing!

Todd, Karen and Ty played their guitars and sang for the entertainment at the ward BBQ. Of course they did a great job. It was a fun summer night!

For the past three years we have gone to Flaming Gorge over Memorial Day to camp with friends. This was actually our first date! This year it fell on Todds birthday, so we got to celebrate his birthday doing what he loves...

its funny how you remember some things so clearly.

i dont know why some things stick and some things dont last a second.

I remember a lesson from young womens, so about six years ago.

it was about doing hard things.

hard things happen, and when they do you have to keep strong and move on.

i can do hard things

and this summer will be hard....

so i think of that to help me, not bring me down.

and with that in mind,

our crazy summer has officially started! this means I will be in logan tuesday through thursday and some saturdays doing my internship for financial counseling, hopefully ill finish the first part of july. and my husband is off in wyoming for his internship at fmc.

i miss him already and sleep with the lights on...

but this way i can graduate! so bring it on.

This week started out with a special treat, grandma and grandpa bradshaw came to enjoy a nice maddox meal with us. We always love chatting with those two. They are the sweetest couple, i want to be just like my grandma b. Plus, how nice for them to come up just to visit us??

Speaking of treats, last night my man surprised me with a special trip to cold stone (after a break down over the rice-a-roni) (i can not cook rice) (it never ever turns out, from the day we were married i have yet to make successful rice) (i cant even do it right in my rice cooker)

BUT he sure knows how to make his pregnant wife smile. yum.

Annnd last but not least, this kid is growin. maybe its just me but i swear she has a growth spurt weekly. Sometimes we are like, yay we are having a baby! and sometimes we are like oh-my-what-are-we-getting-into wearehavingababy!! its crazy to think about. but we are veryvery excited and are taking lots of naps to make up for the sleepless nights to come :)

i cant help it, i have to brag for just a minute.. dont tell todd. (ya know, he might get embarrassed cuz i am exposing his soft side and guys like to be manly...) i just love him.

he is the best husband in the world. my favorite thing is when he talks to our baby in my belly, he says 'i want you to know this is your daddy's voice'...the sweetest thing ive ever heard. plus he is always telling me how good i look, which means alot because my belly is growing exponentially. today he came home with a present for baby girl, he surprised me so much i might have teared up a little. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have him and our extremely active little kicker on the way.

hopefully the summer will fly by as we are both doing our internships. please go by fast!

WELL, I came home from work and the laundry was folded, the bed was made, the dishes were done and all to make me happy :) and it worked, he is the best.

So now my boys...

LANTZ: My handsome brother won Runner-UP at the NGSPA Region 8 Championship Derby Classic. I'm not sure what that is exactly, but it was a Championship for field trials and my brother was the youngest person to ever be in the winners circle at that trial, and his dog was the one of the youngest dogs in the winners circle too. He is almost 16 and already playing with the big boys. Field Trials are kind of like bird hunting with a dog except you run the dog off horseback, and concentrate more on the dog than on shooting birds. You also want the dog to be ranging at a great distance, and when a bird is encountered have the dog point and hold for you to ride up and flush and blank the bird, while the dog stands there.

TODD: Last but not least....todd has been so excited to go hunting again this weekend, good luck! Updates of his hunt soon to come! I will be staying very busy with school and work and having fun with the Kelly kids :)

Last weekend we went camping at big piney with Kolby and Amy. We had fun with them fishing, fourwheeling, eating delicious food and fishing!

I cant believe there are only 10 days of summer left! It has been a very...crazy...summer. I can say that i have learned so much about life. and love. And it is hard work. My dad told me "It always gets better in the end, and if its not getting better then its just not the end yet!" Im so grateful for a loving and supportive family and i couldn't of asked for a better husband.

Last weekend we finally went to JH! (aka jackson hole & coincidently my former initials)

It was so fun! we went WHITE WATER RAFTING and almost lost it over lunch counter, then we went to the granite hot springs pool...a giant hot tub, we got to sit under the waterfall while he drained it. It almost gushed us down the river it was so strong. Thanks for hanging out with us rick, karen & madi! Short & sweet trip...thats how we roll.

First of all:
My dad is crazy! He spent about a month in alaska hunting down this huge bear.
He shot him about 300 yards away on his 11th day there.
After being stuck out there for a few days the weather finally cleared up enough for him to come home. Glad your home safe and sound dad!

Here is our new tent! It takes about 2 minutes to set up, perfect for future camping and backbacking adventures..

Next...LAKE POWELL :) I miss it already!

We had so much fun with our friends Bryce and Michelle. They let us tag along with their family on their houseboat last weekend. They know how to have fun. They took us repelling and it was so intense! It was my first time doing anything like that. They strap you up and hook you up to a rope and off the cliff you go! These pictures are the 300 foot drop we went on the firt time. Here are some pictures of Todd goin down!

The next day we went repelling again. This time we had two drops. It was so scary this time but i tried to be brave! It went straight off a cliff (last time we could kind of ease ourselves over the side) and I had a couple complications: my shirt kept ridding up so the rope went straight across my skin, an easy fix {but so scary for me! i can barely handle going down!} and then about ten feet from the bottom i looked down, and my bangs got threaded through my repelling device (whatever those things are called) with the rope, thank you dave for saving my head! If he wasnt at the bottom to get my rope i would have lost some locks! Todd flew down the rocks, a nautral! We cant wait to go again! And here are the boys all suited up!

Todd's first time scuba diving! They swam around looking for fish and caught a few with spears underwater.

And lastly...

See ya logan! We are living in wyoming! Todd is building a cabin in the mountains and we get to live in a cabin right next to it! (we are moving there next week, right now we are chillin with the parents) Its great to be here with his family and enjoy how beautiful it is here. We love it {maybe someday we will move here for good!}

Everything that takes place in your body, the foot can tell immediately. There is not a single cell in your body that does not have a signal on the foot. It was amazing, she told me things about my body that i didnt tell her..she told me new things that just made sense. She knew about previous injuries from feeling my foot!

I spied on our neighbors, i did it because i was trying to read and i couldnt so i looked out the window to where the music source was coming from..old rock and roll with a twist of rap..music, blarring from a neighbors car. Oblivious to his significant other screaming at him from their upstairs apartment he continued to jam out in his car. then i see a broom fly and hits the truck next to him. launched from the second story apartment by the crazy women. the broom bounces of the truck and hits the pavement. still oblivious, he sits in the car, probably deaf from the music. I think im going deaf from listening to it, its so loud! i watched as she stormed down to the car, whipped open the door and yelled TURN THAT *#&@^@*#&^#*^@*@^*@^@*^**@!! MUSIC OFF!! ha ha, nothing says Welcome to the neighbor hood better than that :)

{TRY IT}my new favorite recipe...

Pretzel Salad
2 cups Broken pretzels
2 Pkgs Softened cream cheese
2-12 oz cool whip
1 cube butter
2 cups sugar
Fruit (frozen and thawed) How ever much you want, whatever kind you want
ex. 3 cans mandarin oranges and one big can pineapple or
a package of berry medley or strawberries and raspberries…

Melt butter in pan and add only one cup of sugar (just dump it in and stir it for about a minute)
pour butter and sugar mixture over the broken pretzels on a cookie sheet
Bake pretzels for about 8 minutes and then let them cool for 5.

Mix cream cheese and 1 c. sugar with beaters in a big bowl and then combine fruit

very last, right before you serve, add cool whip and pretzels (scrape off cookie sheet and dump everything in)

ENJOY!

Well its back to real life after our long Christmas and new years break. (which was wonderful) One week of school down and SIXTEEN to go!! that doesn’t sound to bad, I can handle that..and then summer school! But I honestly do love my classes and learning so its really not ALL that bad. we have soo many awesome pictures from the wedding, so here are some more from the reception 

We have been all over the place, its been so crazy for us. After the wedding we came back to school for finals, which todd rocked..smarty pants..and then off to Miami! Our cruise was so warm, we had a funny waiter from tiawan I think, he would give us so much food “for back-up” and make sure we got all the best entrees..one night todd gave him his order and he said wrong choice! ill bring you the fish instead!..he kept us entertained. We got to eat ice cream after breakfast and all you can eat lunches. the average person gains 13 pounds on a cruise. NO WONDER! good (basically free) food, all the time, all you can eat?? duh…we packed on a few pounds ourselves but thanks to our new years resolution we are trying to take care of that..Anyways, we went to the myan ruins in tulum, which are supposed to correlate with the Book of Mormon. Our guide didn’t know much about that but we met some mormons that actually did and that was really cool to hear about that. Plus it was so hot! The beautiful blue ocean, and blue skies…mmm, I miss the sun. Logan doesn’t get much of it right now. So after that we walked the streets of Cozumel to get back to the ship, not so fun. we were afraid the boat would leave us and we barely made it back in time. Stranded in mexico, no money, no phone, no passport, no NOTHING. ah, we practically ran back to the ship. did I mention how hot it was?..Then the next day we went on a jungle excursion, we walked across an old rope bridge (like the one on Shrek when they go to rescue Fiona) and we walked right through the jungle and to a cave that we got to go through and squeeze through little tunnels and stuff, as cool as that was im not very eager to get stuffed back into a little cave anytime soon. Oh, and there were bats! After that we climbed into these old range rovers and todd got to drive it through the mud in the jungle and then through town, after a lunch of rice and chicken (I think that’s what it was, but it was still good) we got to ride a speed boat back through a river and onto the ocean. We saw a crocodile! and lots of birds, by then I was getting kinda sick and all the drunk people were kinda raining on my parade ha ha..we did other fun things as well on the ship like go to a couple shows and swim. It was a beautiful and well needed vacation! Here are some pics :)

We got back just in time for Christmas, which we were very lucky to spend it with both of our families. I love that we live in the middle of them. After that we have just been so back and forth, a few days at his parents, a few at mine, a few in logan. Todd loves ice fishing. so I thought, hey, I already went elk hunting with him how hard can this be? WELL..i think I would rather go elk hunting! Just because of the cold..it was freezing! I ended up spending more time in the truck sleeping. BUT last time we went it was a blue sky and sunny so I hung out on the ice with them and something happened! Todd got a HUGE fish, and his little pole was bent in half trying to reel it in, and so his dad, me and tony all ran over to his hole to see it and the ice started crackling and that is one of the scariest noises I have ever heard, my heart sunk. It sounds like right before a firework goes off, or maybe rocks tumbling down a mountain..cracking and getting ready to explode. So yeah im scared we are all goin under into that ice cold deep water. what a way to go. But fortunately we are all still here to tell this big fish story. The boys said the fish was 15-20 pounds. and ive become quite educated with this whole fishing business and so I can say that that is pretty impressive. Todd catching that and trying to get it out of the ice hole was actually exciting, I can see why they like it. I did have some fun that day but now im making todd go shopping with me  Hey give a little get a little right? He is always so sweet to me though, I made a good choice. It has been so fun spending the break with our families. Really, they are so fun to be around and we always have a good time with them. I also got to hang out with a couple of my favorite girls and catch up. Friends will always be friends because you will always have those memories and that connection, im lucky to have two friends to share those memories with.

Its already been one month of the married life! I was so excited to get our pictures back from our big day and here they are! (well some)..We have been busy having fun this break, we had a nice warm vacation and came back to the cold..and one of todds favorite things to do..ice fishing..ive never been so cold! but it is surprisingly exciting, anyways, its been wonderful being with family and eachother..

oh, we are married now! it was a perfect day, thanks to everyone who made our day so wonderful and special.. because it was better than i imagined.

This last month has FLOWN by, i dont know where the time goes, but who does these days? At least we were miraculously able to cut three weeks of our waiting time and bumped the wedding up to Nov. 28..Todd will never go fishing alone again! One morning he left to go fishing without me, (i didnt feel very good so i stayed home to sleep) While he was gone that morning i made a few phone calls and they just so happened to work out perfectly! So when he came back from his fishing trip he got some big news that he wasnt expecting! From Dec. 18 to Nov. 28, that fast! Once he was over the shock he was just as excited as i was :)

Our list of things to do just keeps getting longer: not only school but all sorts of wedding and temple planning goes on that i didnt even think of before! But i love it all and absolutely cant wait. We have sent out the announcements, booked the photographer, registered, picked out the cake, ordered flowers, ordered his tux, and we took my bridal pictures! Todd came too so we got more pictures of us, we will seriously have about a million..his sister tina took them and it was so fun, we went on main street and everyone driving by would honk at us!

My very first bridal shower was last saturday, it was so fun! My aunt jill, cousin jordyn and grandma b are so wonderful, everything was perfect! The decorations looked so good and the food was great too :) We got some really cool stuff for our new apartment!! We cant wait to start cooking and using all the fun stuff like our red kitchen aid and red crockpot! I only got embarrassed opening two scandalous gifts, i cant help it, i blush so easy! My grandma and jenny came all the way from st. george for it, and todds sisters came from logan and the roads were awful but im so glad that everyone came and had fun celebrating with me!

It was Layton's homecoming this weekend and doesnt my sister look sooo cute! They got bright yellow vans to match her dress..it made me miss highschool for just a second! NEWS: My cousing jordyn is pregnant! It will be the first one on my dads side and we are all so so SO excited! Another crazy weekend! This weekend we got to go down to st. george! It was a long drive but we always like a good road trip, PLUS The weather was WONDERFUL! We played with my cute little cousins, visited his grandparents at a car show and stayed with my grandparents (best bacon youll ever eat, thanks grandma!) One of his mission companions was getting married so we went to the luncheon and temple for that. It was fun to meet people from his mission and his missionary president. (Thats us with them in the picture) After that we drove to highland to hangout with Kolby and Amy, aka: the cutest couple. Kolby and Todd go way back, Kolby and Amy witnessed our first date camping at flaming gorge! Time Flies! Im glad we got to see them even though our visit was short. The trip wouldnt be complete without stopping at gramdma B's for dessert! Finally we headed back to logan, my parents followed us up to help us move in some furniture to our new apartment! We are so excited to start moving in :)

Somebody is getting old! I think the time has been flying by for me, and then i think, man it must be going by really fast for my parents! It seems like just yesterday my dad was carrying his princess, me of course, up the stairs to bed on his shoulders, or giving me the best biggest under-doggie on the swing at the park..well that was a good ten years ago, so i guess he's not the only one getting older, but today we get to celebrate his old age and how great my dad is! So i would just like him to know how much he means to me and would like to say some thankyous that dont get said enough..Thankyou for..filling up my car with gas before work, your sense of humor, being a cheer dad, helping me move, running with me, trusting me, giving me directions everywhere, being patient with me, random texts, extra money to get a keva, supporting me, taking us boating, going to work for the family..Thank you Trent! These are just a few things out of the many things you do for me that i love and i love you! Happy birthday! I can't believe how fast this month has gone by! Actually, this whole semester has flown by. In two weeks i'll be moving back to k town for the summer. I'm going to try and survive another cold winter in logan next year, lyns and I found a cute place to live and i'm really excited to move in with a few other girls that we know. Lets see, i'm not sure where to start, so i'm just gonna go for it..Here are a few stories of whats happened in the last few weeks..I spent easter in st. george with my family and friends which was really fun. We had our easter egg hunt inside because it was pretty rainy. Bekah learned to ride a two-wheeler, she is always entertaining us. For my mom's birthday we went to dinner. (p.s love you mom, you are everything i want to be when i'm a mom) Since my mom didn't want the attention of her big 40 the waiters sang to hydee instead. All throughout dinner we were laughing at bekah's funny faces she can somehow make. It was a fun trip. Next story: My roommates Angie and Ashley were taking a cake-making class and had two cakes sitting on the counter for a few days. The next thing we knew there was cake everywhere, a food fight was bound to happen sometime right? We found some blue frosting on the wall the other day we must have missed when we were cleaning up. The picture doesn't do the mess justice because we were all covered in cake that night. While i was scrubbing the frosting out of the carpet i thought to myself, was this food fight worth it? and yeah i think it was ha ha. Another story..My best friend lynsie is so wonderful. For my birthday (yes, im almost 19! i cant believe it!) Lyns got me a ticket to go and see WICKED! So we went to salt lake last tuesday with her family for the play and can i just say how amazing it was? After it was over i could have watched it all over again, it was that good! They are so incredibly talented i cant even explain how sweet that was, so thanks lyns :) Last thing..Our boys are on a soccer team and so we have been going to their games each week like the dedicated fans that we are. Even when its snowing, rainy, and freezing we are there! (We might get distracted talking and miss a goal, but feel really bad and wont ever miss a goal again!) They've done great so far! I put up a few pictures from my stories too. Well, sorry this is kind of rushed but its just a little bit of whats been going on..Ill try to post more often :) love you all xoxo

April fools!

This was an april fools that i dont think any of us will forget! The whole day was completely normal, it all started that night when my roommates and i decided to go to Firehouse for dinner. While we were eating me and lyns were texting shane and luke, we were kind of suspicious that they knew we were all gone, but decided they couldnt pull off anything before we got home so we didnt think twice about it. We were so wrong. We underestimated shane, luke, jake and alex. This video is taken from the room across the hall as they watched our first reaction. To make it even worse all of us were fighting to get to the bathroom first. The first thing we noticed was all our furniture was gone, we ran around the apartment looking for anything else that was wrong, screaming the whole time. Our fridge was gone. Steph (a roommate joke, she's our doll) was sitting where the fridge was supposed to be. My sheets and pillows were also missing, so was all the soap, shampoo and conditioner. The bathroom had brown stuff in the toilet and sink. It looked disgusting, later we found out it was chocolate milk. They also took some toothbrushes and stuff like that. Oh, there was also a cup of milk hidden so it would make everything smell bad. Peanut butter was behind the door knobs. I got a good handful of that and somehow it ended up in ashleys hair. I think thats about it! We screamed for about ten minutes about it because talking wouldnt express how we felt about it. They did an amazing job. We all thought it was hilarious. It was definitely the best april fools ive ever had. All i have to say is that is doesnt have to be april fools to get punk'd, and revenge is sweet..
